This 1.5 hour course will provide you with the knowledge and skills to be able to successfully use a Top Rope Belay System at Climb Muskoka. The course includes a two week membership with rentals. We encourage you to take this with a partner or two. You must pre-book on-line here or call the gym to book.
This comprehensive 3-session course will prepare you with the skills, experience and knowledge to be able to lead climb at Climb Muskoka. 3-hour sessions focus on all aspects of being a compotent lead climber. Equipment inspection, best practices for clipping draws, catching and taking lead falls, and belay techniques using a variety of brake assist belay devices. You must provide a dynamic rope, belay device with a locking carabiner. Minimum of 2 climbers required. Book here or call the gym!
